Power of TV and Internet

OK. My cable has been out for two days. That is not very long and should have not been a big deal. But it made me way too unhappy to not have access to TV news channels since I am a news junkie and no internet was particularly irritating to me. This is not a good thing. I did sit and read a book, so I was even doing something I enjoy. But in the back of my mind was this constant awareness that I couldn't just go on line to check something I wondered about. That is just wrong. I need to work on this...as soon as I check up on all the sites I visit to make sure I didn't miss anything.

I'm glad your cable and internet are now working. I've had my own issues with the net this week so I know how frustrating it can be to be cut off from online friends and favotite sites.
